How to join IAT Health

Applications are submitted through this website. All communication will be directed to the email and phone number you provide in your application.

01 · Choose your programme

Review the available health sciences programmes: nursing, perioperative theatre technology, clinical medicine, or health services support.

02 · Submit required documents

KCSE certificate with the relevant subject grades, national ID or passport, and passport photographs.

03 · Medical examination

Some programmes require a medical fitness assessment and may include a short interview as part of the selection process.

04 · Confirm your place

Admitted students receive an offer letter detailing the fee structure, uniform requirements, and laboratory charges.

  • 2 copies of national ID
  • KRA PIN
  • 3 passport-size photos
  • Valid driving licence copy (where applicable)
  • Safety boots and personal effects listed in joining instructions

Frequently asked questions

What programmes are available?

The school offers diplomas in nursing, perioperative theatre technology, and clinical medicine, as well as certificates in perioperative theatre technology and health services support.

What are the minimum entry requirements for diploma programmes?

KCSE mean grade C (plain) or equivalent, with Biology and Chemistry at C (plain) or above for nursing and clinical medicine tracks.

Where are clinical attachments conducted?

Students are placed in county hospitals and community health facilities for supervised clinical practice.

Is professional registration included?

Graduates must sit the relevant professional licensing examinations as required by Kenyan regulatory bodies.
